change in this motor's prices and parts than any other Porsche model. Just ten years ago,
a set of piston and cylinders went for $229.00 per set. Today, that same set goes for
$1,400.00-- that's if you can even find them. We are a strong leader in the Porsche
business. We are experimenting with and improving the use of remanufactured parts. The
356 motor is derived from the early VW 36 HP motor. While growth was not made in leaps
and bounds over that 16 year period (1949-1965), there have been many changes for the
better. Quality control and mass testing is the only way to make these 30 to 50 year old
motors stay together and stay alive.
