#3 Distributor Testing!

Motor Meister will dyno test your Porsche ignition distributor for proper curve or problems with the Porsche ignition distributor on one of its two Distributor Dyno machines.

It is hard to find distributor specialists in todays world of electronic igntion systems like Crank-Fire, but some of our Porsche owners need our expertise in handling either their street or racing ignition needs.

Ignition is just as important as carburetors to have your Porsche run at its very best.

Distributor Dyno testing a 2.7RS

Once your Porsche distributor is tested, Lee Marks marks down and tags ignition distributor what curve it was at all different rpms.

Distributor is tagged and ready to go!

Once completed it's boxed up and shipped to customer!  Lee Marks is a guru with Porsche Carburetors.  He is here to help our customers out with final adjustments or tuning for certain racing events.

Lee's personal notes on distributor testing

What Customer's Say

"Ever since I bought my '73 911 would-be time trial car, I had trouble with the webers. Now, I'm pretty good with webers, generally. (I used to pit crew for a guy and his 40IDAs were my main task). So I figured some of the internal passages were clogged. I knew from their ads that Motor Meister disassembled the carbs, unplugged the passages and machine them all out, there plugged, but I thought the $700 was a bit much. Boy, was I wrong.

After wasting time cleaning and re-gasketing on my own, and money, having a local shop charge me 6 hours of labor to completely screw up my carbs (they were literally spewing gas when I got them back), I sent 'em off to Motormeister. They extensively questioned me about all aspects of the engine and my prospective use (tack). Disassembled, machine all the passages, reassembled, then test-ran the carbs on an engine. I got them back looking new, with little painted marks on every screw setting.

Lee's input was excellent, and I went with his suggestions to fit larger venturies. Best of all,  when I got the carburetors back, I literally pulled them out of the plastic bags, bolted them on )adjusting a throttle link), and started the engine. From 800 to 6,300 RPM, it SINGS. No flat spots, hesitations, surge and not a missed beat. I'm ready for Willow Springs.

I couldn't be more pleased with Motor Meister's work"
