We at Motor Meister have a different philosophy from other rebuilders. We are committed to a high-quality engine at a reasonable price and we have numerous resources for research and development to attain this goal.

One of the areas that has been instructive is aircraft engine rebuilding. The emphasis there is rebuilding components rather than replacing them because of their high cost.

Another area that has enhanced our knowledge of the rebuilding process is our involvement in racing. In the heat of battle there are time and budget constraints that force alternative solutions.

For example, on Saturday racing, you have broken a piston due to missed shift. Your options are:

Pack up and go home;
Buy a full new set of pistons and cylinders;
Replace the one piston and cylinder and reprocess all six in an experimental way and install some special piston rings.
